Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting my cashback
  • Important: Once the retailer has approved the lead, Econnex transactions will take up to 90 days to appear in your account. Do not lodge a cashback claim prior to this.
  • Your Energy service must remain active for at least 45 days after connection date to be eligible for cashback. Your Broadband service must remain active for at least 90 days after connection date to be eligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on Mobile, Credit Cards, and any products not listed as eligible.
  • Cashback is eligible only on Energy (electricity & gas), Broadband, and Solar products on a completed purchase & payment of a policy. A completed quote is not an eligible purchase and will therefore be ineligible for cashback. You will only be eligible for cashback on a completed purchase of a policy. Cashback is ineligible on Mobile, Credit Cards, and any products not listed as eligible.
  • Econnex cashback may initially report lower than expected. Do not raise a claim as this will uplift automatically.
  • Econnex cashback takes up to 14 days to report into your TopCashback account.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any coupon codes not advertised on our platform.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.
What else is essential
  • Engaging with 3rd party browser extensions, ad-blockers, VPNs, DNS ad-guards, enabling browser tracking prevention settings, and using browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • Ensure your shopping cart is empty prior to clicking out from TopCashback, and return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
  • Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.
Good to know
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If any part of an order is cancelled, returned, exchanged, modified, or credited, the entire order will become ineligible and cashback will be declined.
What to do and when
  • Cashback claims must be submitted within 100 days of the purchase date. Unfortunately, any claims made after this period cannot be accepted.
