Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting my cashback
  • Cashback rates are based on the Pay Part Now Option. Customers should use the Payment Type filter to view the Pay Part Now option. If you choose Pay in Full (Pay Now), cashback/commission will be calculated based on the maximum eligible Pay Part Now amount. No further cashback will be paid on any remaining balance or expenditures.
  • For Discover Cars, you must clear your browser cookies prior to clicking from TopCashback to the Discover Cars website. Cashback will only track and be payable if your quote and purchase is made solely via this website. This means you must click the 'Get Cashback' button, go straight through to the retailer website and make the purchase in the same session without exiting your browser.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any coupon codes not advertised on our platform.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards, vouchers, or store credit for partial or full payment. Cashback is also ineligible on purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.
What else is essential
  • Cashback has a 6 month validation period commencing once vehicle is returned.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, DNS AdGuard, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • Accept and allow all 3rd party cookies on the retailer's page if requested.
  • Return to TopCashback to click the 'Get Cashback' button for each new transaction.
  • Transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted or negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.
Good to know
  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If any part of an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, the entire order will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
What to do and when
  • Cashback claims must be submitted within 100 days of the purchase date. Unfortunately, any claims made after this period cannot be accepted.
